Handmade art is the focus of "From American Hands: Fine Crafts by American Artists" at Prince George Art & Frame in Williamsburg.
The exhibition, which runs through Dec. 20, 2008, features papier-m?ché sculptures by Hank Mook, stoneware pottery by Robert and Karen Podd, furniture and silver jewelry by Carlton Abbott, quilts by Anne Baxter, raku vessels and wall platters by Denis Orton, pottery bowls and mugs by Robert Leek, wooden books with hidden storage spaces by Steven Levine, ceramic and concrete leaves by Polly Nunn and painted furniture by Bonnie Coyle.
These artists demonstrate craftsmanship in both traditional and contemporary designs, and with multimedia: wood, metal, clay, cloth and paper.
Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
